No doubt John. I have to agree with that. By best performing stock is in the highly depressed mining sector.

<<. I wouldn't be surprised to see future deals being much more telecommunications based just because of this.>>

Again I agree with that. As a former software professional, I know that infrastructure, telecom and all that is the backbone of this industry. B2B (Business to Business) e-commerce is by far greater than retail e-commerce and is only starting to ve developed. The future looks great.

But that has nothing to do with the bubble in stocks. The information business will do well for several decades if not centuries. But the stocks do reach level of overvaluation. They have now.

This means that at some point in time the market will come back to earth and realized that the bubblke has come to far. Stock prices will crash and a new cycle will start. This crash (or call it a major bear market) will not necessarily affect the natur of the business. There will still be a lot of deals being done. But the premiums on stocks will have eroded.

Look at the 1987 crash... it took 8 years (1995) before the big premiums started to build in stocks again...

The next major correction or crash is approaching and the game will not be the same after it is done.

This being said, I think there is still time for JDX to give its shareholders major capital gains. But we don't have 5 years like shareholders of CMGI and ICGE had back in 1995.
