OT----> On Energy Conversion Devices: Ovshinsky has been around for about 20 years or so. In the early 80s (when it was widely believed that oil would be trading well over $100/barrel by the end of the century if something drastic wasn't done), he was going to revolutionize energy. As I recall, he got companies like GM, Ford, Toyota, and a couple of oil companies to give him millions of dollars for solar energy cells, I think it was. I didn't know he was still around. It's just amazing to me that people still take him seriously. Nothing came of his schemes, and his company, Energy Conversion Devices, has been a yoyo on the charts. Check out a long term chart. He must be brilliant, or people wouldn't keep flinging money at him, I guess. But....
