PB,

<How many AMD die hards believe K7 will be able to compete against Willamette?>

The question is technically inappropriate given that K7 exists and Wilamette does not. Belief/hope should typically be used for future products. This is more so for Intel today in light of the pathetic execution on processor designs of late.

The right question in my view, throwing out the blurb about die hards, is "how many people believe/hope that Wilamette will be able to compete with K7-core based product available in the market when Wilamette arrives?"

Chuck

P.S.: In my not so humble opinion, people who argue PIII-core is competitive with K7-core should bone up on computer architecture so that they could stop losing further credibility.
