Well first of all Neo, you have to remember that just about every hotel resort in Vegas is a "theme", so knowing you I suspect that the Bellagio might have the most "appeal"...If you're shopping, bring money. There's a Chanel Store, Gucci, Armani, Prada, uh, there's a Tiffany's, I saw another jewelry store (can't remember the name) that had beautiful estate jewelry.

There is an art gallery with Gaugin, Monet, some Van Gogh...but the gallery itself is not pleasing, imo.

I don't know if "ambience" is the right word for Vegas<g> but you certainly would enjoy seeing the sights I'm sure, even if you don't gamble. I think Red Rock State Park is within a half hour, it's a nice place to "nature walk" if you enjoy that.

I like the Mall on Las Vegas Blvd. too, has the usual Saks & Needless Markup, lot's of boutiques including some of the funky designers like Betsy Johnson.... the Saks carries a huge resort line of clothing the likes of which you just can't find hardly anywhere else<vbg>

Here's a link I found on the Bellagio, it'll give you an idea of what it's like.
