Athlon sytems are flooding small retailer market. Of 34 storefronts advertised in the latest San Diego ComputorEdge flyer:

34 sold PIII and Celeron systems (100%)
27 sold PIII-600 MHz systems (79%)
28 sold K6-2 systems (82%)
23 sold K6-3 systems (68%)
18 sold Athlon systems (53%)
12 sold Athlon 650 MHz systems (35%)
7 sold Athlon 700 MHz systems (21%)
0 sold PIII systems faster than 600 MHz

In nearly all of the Athlon ads, the Athlon systems are sold with the biggest hard disk, most peripherals such as DVD and CDRW drives.
