Pinnacle missed the boat. They had opportunity to be a competitive supplier of storage devices, but they didn't get their act together in time. Now Iomega, Fujitsu, and even SyQuest are the big names, to name only a few. In an article approx. a month ago in WSJ, it is estimated that the storage industry is expected to grow at a rate of 98% per year for the next four years. This is due to several factors including the internet, multimedia files, imaging, etc. that consume major amounts of MBs...IF Pinnacle gets their act together, they can still grab a decent amount of marketshare. A new PR department would be nice, too... ANY news is better than NO news.
