Totally OT> LOL! I keep CNBC running in the background. . .but I cannot SEE it without turning away from my window [the one I am continuously looking out when I trade]. . . so I only WATCH it pre-market for the real-time pre-market ticker in yellow. . .pretty cool. . .and when they are interviewing someone of interest. I throw things at the TV when the anal-ysts come on. . .usually M&Ms from my Dilbert dispenser. LOL. . .A week passed before I noticed Ron Insana's hair. . .or rather lack of it. I like Kernan, because he sees the market for what it is. . .very unfair to the individual traders. . . and subtly implies that we doubt what we see. I also like Bob Pisani's afternoon take on what is "really" going on [the big picture]. . .if you listen carefully, he really does know what he is talking about. . .and is correct many more times than he is not. Other than that. . .I would like a device that tunes out the advertisements AND the CNBC music, both of which drives me nuts. . .perhaps I will have to write them some new themes. The whole sol-mi-do NBC theme is so overdone it makes the entire station sound quite unoriginal and contrived. . . .then to drive it into the brains of the poor professional traders that have to keep it on in the background. . .well. . .it is certainly a form of torture.
