Rich, i haven't yet read the article you provided the link to, but i am with Yardeni on the subject, who says it is positively worrying how complacent everybody has all of a sudden become with regards to Y2K. people forget that the global economy is highly interdependent and that the Fortune 500 are not the only yardstick by which one can measure the overall state of Y2K preparedness. while i do think that the extreme alarmists have probably also got it wrong to some extent, the current spin of Y2K as a 'non-event' is highly inappropriate.
