Mart Resources,

I seem to recall Tomas mentioning this one, could be wrong though. The fact that they are in the DRC makes it interesting. The private placement of 6 million shares could it have gone to the two newcomers most likely as Vincent Hamilton and Magnus Nordin were made directors during September as you know, with VH made president.

The latest press release,

Wednesday Sep 1 1999

Mart Resources, Inc. plans to restructure its management and board of directors.
Vince Hamilton has been appointed president and a director of the company. Mr.
Hamilton will be at Mart's office in London, England. Prior to joining Mart, Mr.
Hamilton was the general manager of Lundin Oil UK (formerly Sands Petroleum
UK). After leaving Shell Oil Company in 1991, he worked in Africa and South
America developing exploration and production opportunities for Canadian junior
oil companies. He holds a master of science degree in geology from the Colorado
School of Mines.
Magnus Nordin has been appointed as a director of the company. Mr. Nordin, a
Swedish citizen, has a background in corporate finance and is a director of Lundin
Oil AB (formerly Sands Petroleum AB) of Stockholm. He holds a master of arts
degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
These appointments will help position the company to rapidly finalize oil and gas
exploration and development opportunities in West Africa that are presently being
negotiated. Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Nordin have various experience and
knowledge of African oil business as well as significant relations with European
financial institutions.
Dr. Robert Leslie, who stepped down as president of Mart effective Sept. 1,
1999, said that he strongly supports the new appointments and is excited about
the company's future. He will remain an active member of Mart's board of
directors.

Worth a look see!
