LOL! Actually, I enjoyed The Little Foxes (saw the same production) better than most of Hemingway and also found Hammett an imitation of Hemingway--at his most self-indulgent. This is, however, my own taste and what can you expect of a person who adores Mann and Joyce?

BTW, have you heard the "Hemingway" answer to the question, why did the chicken cross the road?
