Sowbug, I think the Y2K bug is going to have as much adverse impact on the market as a 6 inch snowfall in Philly. Everyone's going to look at the snow, shovel the driveway, and go to work wishing it had snowed 2 feet and they could stay home for a few days... A possible hedge with no 1999 tax consequences? Sell out of the money calls with expirations a few months out or longer. No problem getting out of the driveway? Then buy them back if you no longer need the hedge. JMO, Mark
