MSFT is f*cked and so is this mkt. breaking up MSFT is not like breaking up Standard Oil. A bunch of small MSFTs will make software enormously more competitive and thus raise costs. This is very bad for the stock, imo. This is likely the trigger that kills this POS mkt... reminds me of the EU announcement on gold..... everyone will blow it off and blame the selloff on MSFT, but the damage will be done. too much mkt cap and index weighting in that POS to have it fall and it not do some damage. we'll see...
