Now that GBLX has (some) fiber laid and it's maintaining it with the subsidiary company via submarines, what do they plan to do if there is a break? What about sabotage -- wouldn't it be easy (unlike phone lines running along 25 KV power lines) for a well financed entity to cut lines, or multiple lines quickly & easily? I would also imagine some parts of the ocean floor are too deep for the submarines, correct?
