MARKET SNAPSHOT ------------------------------------------------------------ Stocks moved decisively higher in a broad-based rally.
The Nasdaq Composite chalked up its sixth consecutive record close Friday, against a backdrop of benign economic data and historic banking-reform legislation. The index rose 46.25 points to 3102.20.

Market breadth finished positive, with 1,751 advancers and 1,297 decliners. Up volume outpaced down volume, with 521.8 million shares vs. 455 million shares respectively.
Economic news was at the forefront Friday, as the October employment report showed a higher-than-expected gain of 310,000 in non-farm payroll jobs, with unemployment at 4.1 percent, slightly lower than forecast.
