I wouldn't take what happens in aftermarket to be any indicator of what will happen on Monday. I think they articulated it well on CNBC... everyone knows MSFT has a monopoloy - at issue is how have they used it to gain dominance in other areas (or have they). Then, what changes will Microsoft have to make or what will they have to pay (or both) in order to set things straight.

It's my assumption (which may be wrong) that MSFT's price has been held down by the pending ruling. Not that I think MSFT is a buy or undervalued... Don't misunderstand me. Only that investors that would have bought Msft haven't because of this action. I think once the ruling is complete Microsoft stock marches on. The best thing for stockholders I think would be a break up. The company is worth more as parts then as a whole. If it wasn't so large in valuation it'd be a target for an LBO. Remember those :-)
