Thoughts I had after reading the MSFT thread regarding the ruling

Is it possible that the government had so much pressure from companies to go after MSFT, that in order to settle things down, they pursued it like this, but the final decision will be that MSFT makes a settlement, thus avoiding company lawsuits against MSFT, guess it is like window dressing to appease other companies. Your thoughts on this please.

Also, it is hard for me to believe that MSFT just got on the DOW(like nobody had any information at all about the judges unfavorable ruling...) I cannot believe that everyone was so tightlipped, and that the judge was so tightlipped to everyone. I do not think that MSFT would have been put on the DOW if in the end MSFT was going to be so beaten down, thus bringing down the DOW, to some degree, with it. You thoughts on this please.

Now remember, I am just new with this stuff and hope I stated it so you could understand it. Maybe I am off the wall, but I had none of Tims' drinks here....seriously <<gg>>
