Bunch of whiners. Like the kid who couldn't stand up to the bully and went crying to his mommy (Scott McNeally).

This isn't going to hurt the stock a bit longer term.

I'm also a computer consultant working at a major airline right now, and have my own opinions about software, and the offerings of SUNW, Netscape, and Microsoft. I'm thankful when I'm doing an international rollout of a customized application that I can do it on a single platform. I remember the days when you had OS/2, Unix, Windows 95, and Windows 3.1. You'd get multi-platforms particularly when the company did an acquision and the new offices were on something different.

But the judge and Joel Klein, and maybe Janet Reno are much more qualified to make these decisions for me and I'm glad for it. Maybe they like Linux better, who knows? I'll have to stay tuned and see what the judge thinks, and just hope after a Linux rollout that the judge doesn't decide he prefers java based browser apps, because then I'll really have to scramble.
