I agree..... not encouraging for Microsoft...and I feel furious with this myopic, old world judgement from Jackson.

worse case is that product cycles are delayed (god forbid)...

next, that some type of limitations/holds are leveraged on the company (which could affect product cycles and stock)...

After the release of Jackson's statement, I wanted to communicate my furor, I went to the Microsoft site... found the Freedom to Innovate forum; a place to communicate with your political representatives.

yes.. i think this whole issue is going to be raised to political issues.. and every person's opinion needs to be expressed to their congressmen, and representatives.

If you're a capitalist, if you believe in a free economy, if you believe in innovation; you have to say something through the forum.
