HELLO NEIGHBOR' FROM ENFIELD ;-) Dr. Dignam saved my eldest sons life, he has measles and his temp suddenly soared to 106 and he barely made it..after a visit through that dark tunnel. Thanks to Dr. Dignam he lived.. Dr. Robbins was in the hospital for 9 monhts suffering from Pancreatitis..He barely made it.. Dr. Robbins kept my youngest son who was an asthmatic alive for many years..He is now a Computer whizo' That was in the 70's..Yes there is a Riverside Park in Agawam.Mass. Just South of West Springfield..My children would tell you that was their favorite place..Would you believe that Amusement Park is still there..expanded...Your family names are not familiar..Does Fahey ring a bell? Atty Frances Fahey was a relative of my late husband..I lived there when United Technology was booming.. They employed 100,000 people at peak times..The first Space Back Pack was made at Hamilton Standard. Windsor Locks...So much history was written during that era..Crystal Lake in Enfield? Did you go skating on the freshwater Pond in the winter?? That was a wonderful day for kids..they even had lights at night ;-) Parkelias I do remember the name..Was Hallmark Cards Distr. Center built before you left..Do you remember Bigelow Sanford Carpet..They had a Mill in Enfield..Springbok Puzzles?? they were bought out by Hallmark. Cards. Sooo many memories.. You are TOOOOOO modest..I would love to hear that beautiful Voice..I have been to Tanglewood so many time to see Arthur Feidler and Leonard Bernstein Conduct the Boston Pops...That is another area that is near and dear to me. South Hadley and . Amherst has changed so much..But one can enjoy a trip dutring foliage season through South Hadley and then back through Northampton.to buy Pumpkins for the holiday Pies ;-)
