The tone of Gates and his COO's remarks say that they want to get this case over with. Either they are bluffing, and will appeal, or facing up to the path of least resistance. I think it would be very prudent from a business point of view to settle, and then get on with their business life. Otherwise, they could die a slow death. My bet is that they will try to settle. Its a short term hit, and will reinvigorate the already damaged moral of the company. JIMHO--QuadK
