But it was the government's DOD-DARPA program that developed the internet protocol. The unleashing of this technology into the "free enterprise" world has been the real exciting part. Imagine how long it would take if only one company was in control of innovation for the internet? =;-) I love competition!! Its the spirit and essence of who we are and where we're going.
