Well, I spent a lot of time on this thread making the arguments that
a) Microsoft had abused its monopoly position, and
b) Microsoft should have settled with the government.

So I'm just gonna give a big 'told ya so' to all those people who were spouting maxims and saying that the government had no case.

At any point up to today Microsoft could have settled with the government at a more favorable position than whatever comes out of this. Don't think that this is going to be good for investors, either. Microsoft's biggest asset is its monopoly power and that's the first thing that's going to be, uh, remedied.
