Reddog, I have noticed that a lot of people in your business seems very upset/jealous of msft. But the reason msft products are the most widely available is that Gates was smarter than the rest. There are products that are probably more friendly and powerful for people with your background but not so for the public as a whole and there is more of us'es than you's. :-) I propose that the people in your business will rue the day they let the camel get his nose under this tent. OS/2 was commissioned to MS by IBM Yes and that shows how smart IBM was again. <G> I shudder to think of what I would have had to pay for Office if IBM had released that product. You know I started using Lotus Smart Suite which was a total night mare TO ME. All I know is that their stuff works for me and most of the non computer gurus and the price is right. see ya
