I hope so - but when the kind of money we are talking about - future potential in the hundreds of trillions of dollars - an industry that can set the direction for the entire species and the whole planet for our future - that is massive power and that always attracts the most evil kinds of powermongers. This is a chance to get the hands in the cookie jar - maybe they won't exploit it - will be very interesting to see how this plays out.
