Iceberg,

re:"What is your personal interpretation of the information?"

I am at a loss.

We could assume the contract extensions on the rigs is an indicator of business picking up in the GOM.

Did ESV get dragged down by the sector today? OSX down 4.5%.

I have 500 ESV and wrote covered calls NOV 20s, and they are still a little pricey which should indicate everyone thinks this stock may see 20 again before expiration. 2 weeks until expiration, 1 1/2 out of the money and still 1/2 on the ask for those nov 20s.
But none were traded today, so the bid/ask may be skewed.

The Ensco 26 from the GOM and the Ensco 100 from the North Sea is in the shipyards for upgrades I guess.

I'd like to see some movement on the four idle platform rigs in the GOM.

I'm open to suggestions.
:o)
