Dear Bill: I have to disagree with you on MSFT. Here is why, the whole POINT of the ruling is to be SO FORCEFUL that competitors and future competitors and the people who fund them will no longer be afraid to bring new technology with new solutions to the market. I believe that MSFT will face much more competition in the future than they had in the past. IMHO MSFT is not really well thought of as a company that INNOVATES. Rather they are good at taking others ideas and running with them. That may no longer be as doable as in the past. At the VERY LEAST MSFT is now much more speculative than before thus the PE assigned them MAY be less. As to their future, that depends upon their ability to adapt and innovate, they do have large financial power but do they have the MINDS to accomplish it? Dont know at this point and I dont think anyone else does either as they never had to do it before. JDN
