Guys take a close look at RF MICRO DEVICES.<<<

tst,
i did look hard at them a while back...the one thing that kept me out was that rf has one customer that takes 50%+ of production...growth looks great though. but so does cree.

i have done a lot of dd on cree and can provide info if you get interested.
mike buckley is studying cree for me now. i expect him to ordain it a gorilla in a few weeks. i believe cree is already in their first tornado (70% growth and accelerating). this little company is production constrained and expects to increase production by 4x next year. mostly by increasing yields (which should also increase margins).

future tornadic activity can be expected from announcements regarding SiC products for communications, higher intensity leds, SiC in microwave, other, and of course the blue laser. we very well could see all of this next year.

cree has signed an unannounced contract with nokia to provide leds for the top 5% of their phones. i calculate approx $20M in new business there. as cree accelerates production do they get the other 95%? what about other cell phone mfr, are they going to be left out? and cell phones are just one product where leds work well...think about handhelds of all kinds. leds are ideal on battery driven devices due to low power consumption.

i visualise my cree investment this way...i am in a company with a virtual lock. current uses of SiC are experiencing rapid growth and new uses are coming on board and extensive research is underway for even more uses.

cree is experiencing 70% and accelerating growth for a product that has a myriad of uses.
let's look at what that means....nine years is my personal time frame. $1000 invested at 70% for 9 years is $70,000.

in addition to all of this you get a free lottery ticket to win the blue laser. estimated worldwide market $80 BILLION.

good luck...hope you win!
