Good Morning Jill,
After a good night sleep, i am a little calmer today. For a while i was thinking that i would sell covered calls on Monday just to protect against a big decline.
Now i feel more confident. At worse we could get a drop of $2 or so--maybe even gain a couple of dollars by the end of the way. I believe a one sided fact finding was factored into the price. I found it strange that he limited everything to Intel based PCs. Then of course there is still the matter of applying the law to the case. We only have the "facts".

I would want MSFT to keep the PR work going. That is what they need to do. MSFT's effort should be to continue showing how the industry is very dynamic and how this competition (unregulated) benefits consumers.

I am also of the opinion that if MSFT keeps a good image or a favorable rating among the public, it will keep winning any lawsuit such as Caldera and Bristol. Juries are not dealing with big tobacco or gun companies. They are dealing with a company that is making their work or internet experience easier. I hope the Caldera decision is out around the same time as Jackson's decision.

I am not worried at all(after a good night sleep of course).
Good Luck.
