Correct. However even in Snowbird Land we can benefit by "selling" shares at a loss rather then "burning" shares. The subsequent "capital loss" can be used to reduce the tax on any "capital gains" made on NON K-9 investments. However, my SGMS investment is a very small part of my investments and any "capital loss" would be so small that the resulting "benefit" is hardly worth worrying about. SGMS has one other modest "benefit" for me though ...... the "entertainment value" of it's S.I. forum ......... especially of the "dreamer element". All the best, LOR
