Monty, the MSFT news IMHO were leaked out last week if not the details at least the substance.

See the put call ratios and accumulation on the stock possible to be affected. I was wondering why the love with GTW/AOL/SUNW/ORCL all of a sudden all MSFT rivals - now the answer is out.

DELL went down and INTC neutral yesterday in a up market another quiz - well to close to MSFT <GG>

I just wonder if the SEC will do anything on this issue, which I think they will not.

In another vein as a question - does any one know if there is a cooling period for those working for the SEC before joining WS or WS related work?? If not the free for all corruption in the financial markets is easelly explained.

As to MOT I think for a while now there are efforts to transfoem MOT in a "market darling" to substitute for other stock(may be DELL). The past performance of the company just fits the mold - lousy history of earnings, Iridium etc. the story cellular phones, never mind that it is a penny business at best if not a money looser, it is catchy J6P even a idiot can get it which is the first requirement for a "darling stock".

Would I buy MOT - NO I better leave it alone.

I wonder wen they will gang up on HWP as a market darling.
