Excerpt from CNNfn Talking Stock:

METAXAS: All right. Let's go out to Illinois right now. Nobi, you're on the air.
CALLER: Hi, thank you for taking my call. I want your opinion on Compaq (CPQ), short and long.
Should we hold, sell or buy more?
KATZ: We think Compaq has a very good long-term prospects. We think the new management is
getting their act together. We will see tangible results of that by six or nine months from now. It is
one of the few technology companies that is selling at a very reasonable valuation. And on a
price-sales basis it's at about a 75 percent discount to Dell (DELL) so we think Compaq is a very
good opportunity and we'd be aggressive buyers at these levels. Our intermediate target is about
30-$35 per share, and we think you have fairly limited downside risk.
METAXAS: Would you have enough nerve to sell one of the top five Nasdaq stocks and use the
proceeds to buy Compaq?
KATZ: If you have a 12 to 18 month time horizon, we could, because the big question is not what did
well over the last year, but what's going to get the next 50 percent over the next year, and we think if
you take those top five, Compaq has a better chance than probably a good deal of them in the next
year.
