I am just theorizing or thinking out loud, so to speak. I was just wondering what is to prevent me from offering to sell my stock at a certain price over the Internet, for instance to anyone that was interested. Yes, it would cut out transaction fees. I would need to have the certificates in my possession in order to do this, I suspect. There are probably many other legal issues that prevent this from happening.
