No they don't. What group of competitive institutiions are going to move in collusion to move INTC? That is not a realistic assertion. The reason I used an individual, is because a trader within an organization would never get the okay to commit that type of capital for the medium term in an attempt to move a stock and he would not be able to do it in the '90's without being caught. Worst case scenario, they attempt to unload their inventory at a profitable negotiated price (not necessarily the going market price), and then they will probably convince an institutional client to buy them in a block trade off the exchanges. You seriously overestimate these companies' power, risk management policies and capital structure.
