Actually places like UK, Australia and possibly Germany would also feel threatened by such a powerful company. That is what all this is about "big government" proponents trying to show that they are still in charge

JFD, These countries would have felt threatened if they were only serving the domestic market. Then they would take action. However, if a UK or German company had the global dominance of a Microsoft, they would be very proud and not want to mess things up. I bet even a somewhat socialist European goverment would not have gone after MSFT if it was based there. Only in America!
