Unfortunately you cannot wish up competition by judicial fiat. Many elude to Standard Oil as an example. Does anyone here see a great difference in the price you pay when going from one of the ex-Standard oil companies to another? Regarding the ATT breakup, my phone bill went up not down as what was gained in long distance savings was lost on local and in state toll calls.

Yes, when AT&T was split up instead of One Large Monopoly it became One Large Company and several Small, Regional Monopolies.
