Ron, which car do you think gives the best value for your money?
Can you give some recommendation for $20k, $30k, $40k, and $50k range?

All I want from a car is trouble free, safe and quiet .
I am the kind of nerd that doesn't even know how to change oil...(well actually I've done it once in my life, and the oil leaked the next day.)

Since I enjoyed Accord so much, thinking about getting another one, but would like to upgrade a little bit next time.

I was very impressed with Lexus LS400.
Even after the engine was turned on, I thought the engine was still off, so I turned the ignition key again.(ooops) It was that quiet.
And they seem to be #1 on customer satisfaction ever since they came out a decade ago.

Maybe we were just unlucky but we had a few US & European made cars before but it seems US cars either leak or something falls apart, and with European's a lots of electrical problems.

BTW, the distributor you mentioned, I had to change it when the car had about 100k miles. Found out it was a recall item so Honda dealer changed the distributor free after 100k miles!
