Deciphering the SI 'dialect' can be confusing to say the least! It reminds me of the first time I saw someone use 'LOL' in a chat room. I was thinking to myself "what does this mean" and the only thing I could come up with was 'lots of love', an abbreviated electronic greeting either welcoming someone into the conversation, or expressing some appreciation for what another was saying. Little did I know that LOL@John was just someone laughing with me (or more likely AT me) <g> (For those who don't know LOL = laughing out loud.)

Anyway, I have some ideas about what 909 means, but am not confident enough (yet) to step up to the plate and define it. Hopefully, someone will be willing to take a crack at it...

Why don't you take a stab at defining "grub"? Many will thank you for it!

Example: Lexicon (noun)

The vocabulary of a language, an individual speaker or group of speakers, or a subject.
