The neatest thing I've found is probably this great old anchor that's about 4 feet high and weighs around 80 pounds or so. A friend estimated it to be 100 to 125 years old. When I was doing a lot of diving in the river, it would be nothing to go out for a dive and pull up 4 or 5 anchors that boats had lost. Nice Danforth ones too.

Also, what used to be a B&O railroad bridge crosses the river near the mouth, and apparently way back when, people used to throw stuff out the train windows all the time. Some divers have found old B&O railroad plates intact that are worth about $200.

It's basically just a big scavenger hunt. You never know what you'll find.
