Did anyone see the week CMRC had after announcing their deal with GM? AWESOME up $39 on Friday alone to close at $289. Oracle announced joint venture with Ford. That leaves one of the big 3 automakers left for a biz-to-biz marketplace deal. I can't see DaimlerChrysler doing a deal with the same company that is working with GM, which leaves a massive opportunity for IFM and ARBA with DaimlerChrysler. IFM already has a great relationship with the big 3 with the secure automotive network, which operates essentially as the an electronic marketplace now with IFM as the hub. Add ARBA for procurement announce the deal and ARBA goes up $90 the way CMRC did and IFM goes up ???? Ameritech also does a lot of biz with the auto industry - so I bet there are great synergies and economies of scale. Emergis has now added Procurement Solutions and Marketplaces solutions to the categories listed on the web site under Commerce Solutions.
