The key is that the far majority of computer users know nothing except Windows and without exposure to the other OS systems their minds feel it is the best. I run Windows-98, os/2 and Linux. I feel Linux is not ready for prime time yet, Windows can do a lot but the OS is far from stable and its desktop and workplace shell is minor league in features and performance. OS/2 has a shortage of programs [mainly at the small business level and limited device drivers, but it is the most stable, its workplace shell is by far ahead of anything out there, features and preformance #1, and with the latest fixpacks, is still years ahead of anything that Win-98 or Linux are at right now!
