Claude, Well 40 billion ounces for all of history? I cannot challenge his figures as he seems to have resaerched them. I think his gold in Egypt is very low, remember the golden era in Egypt, where they had the enormous Nubian mines under their control. This certainly was hundreds of tons. They have found records of these figures, but I do not have them.
As to 20 billion in India? that seems highas Indial would not have 50% of accumulated production stored there, perhaps 5-7 billion ounces?
