As of the last quarterly report @home MSO's have 21 million homes upgraded for two way service out of a total 72 million possible. Tell me if I am looking at this right: There are currently 21 million homes already wired with the functionality to get cable broadband.. Excite@home has 1 million subscribers... of the 20 million remaing households .. how many are using dial-up? ____________ how many have no clue about the internet__________ What is excite @home doing to: #1 convert the dial-ups to cable braodband____________ ___________________________________________________ #2 educate the non-users to the point where they will buy internet/broadband.____________________________. Does Excite@home only have 1 million subscribers because they only have 1 million households wired for their cable Broadband? What % of total households wired for excite@home cable broadband do the 1 million current subscribers represent? (I am trying to figure out penetration.) Thank you for any facts you have handy. I'm just brain-storming. Don't knock yourself out trying to get the info.
