Has anyone visited the Borland website lately? Another major overhaul of the front page. This time its filled with lots of Internet buzzwords (the header on the page had "dotcommers" one time and then "go .com yourself"). Then there is the "webvolutionaries" ditty. Maybe I'm naive, but does this type of marketing appeal to upper management? Blond, scantily clad women seems to sell beer, but can this internet, webvolutionary hype sell software? To get a feel of how far they are going with this webvolutionary thing, visit this site:

I'm well aware of the marketing problems Borland/Inprise has had over the years and this is their latest shot. Is this what it takes to sell software nowadays?
