I think I like the 801s. Haven't heard them in a realistic room, and I haven't given the latest Nautilus iteration a listen.
I adore the Wilson WATT-Puppies, but they are mondo fussy and need a big, clean room. One of the nicest, most "not there" speakers I ever heard are ProAc Response Threes. I would LOVE to have a pair of those.

I would really like to audition the Audio Artistry Beethovens - a four-box set of dipole speakers with attendant sub towers. Imaging is supposed to be marvelous ... and my Maggies image like a ViewMaster. :-)

Living in a small house jam-packed with family in CA does not allow me to set up a decent listening room. We needed an armoire recently - it had to go into the living room, and now my Maggies sound horrible. Acoustics of the room are shot to bits, and I hold no near-term hope of getting a better place to set them up.
So for now I do my real listening on a pair of Grado headphones. I wanna get a good headphone amp for them. Maybe the McCormack Micro Drive?

What do you have driving the big B&Ws?! Talk to me...
