Magnepan! No kidding! I had that when I was in college, I bought a used set... Thats was a long time ago... At that time the panel had a thin wires in it and some got rusted or got bad.... I had to send it to the factory to fix it. I loved it though, still one of my favorite. It was almost as big as the door though... I like Mag for their natural sound... I guess they have improved a lot since then... I should check that one first. magnepan.com Good selections LRR. I'll check out those CD player and amp. I remember Magepan needed a good solid amp... Still have about 40 unused tubes, I will not go back to tubes. Agree with you on spending at least 50% on speakers.
