Paul, Thanks once again for your defense of my positions. I chose not to, and will not answer anyone on this thread who is not considerate enough to fill out a profile. That being said, I am much more interested in your thoughts on the other part of my post, AMD's vulnerability to a K-6 recall, if and when Intel is issued a trade mark protection on MMX. Do you not think it is worse for AMD now, not having a definative answer from the Courts? If I were a OEM contemplating using an AMD's K-6 chip, I sure would not want to risk a recall. Not on top of all the other uncertainties that I would face by bringing in an alternative to Intel's chips. Regards, Jules
