chris, not to make excuses but... i own a tee shirt tourist shop in sw fla. oct this year was a disaster. starting with hurricane floyde in sep. with 2 tropical storms and another hurricane in oct. nobody was shopping any where in the south east. plus the entire east coast had a beautiful indian summer with no reason to buy fall weight clothing. old navy is gps answer to walmart pressure. skoff if you like. walmart is a major competitor to All retailers in many fields. sh##, I hate 'em and I shop there! everybody loves bargins (or preceived bargins). old navy offers that. gps is at the traditional yearly low and should recover nicely into dec. jan. the leather goods will add tremendously to their gross per person ring and to their bottom line. (in all divisions). a buying opportunity is here now. rocky
