You and millions of other stock holders. I expected high fives at any moment. From a political standpoint, they just don't get that this situation is not 'us against them', it an exercise to define and create a fair and open marketplace. That press conference clearly demonstrated that their focus was on beating Microsoft, not on an unbiased review of the facts and the remedies.

I think that eventually, the solution to this will come from the politicians, not from the courts. There is too much public opinion/emotion involved in this dispute, if the pols perceive that the public is strongly on Microsoft's side, the pressure will mount and the politicians will not be able to resist digging in, especially with a presidential election year in 2000.
