All one has to do is define who "US" is and one can prove that God hates most of the human race. Brian, what you are preaching to people is that God created most of the human race (billions of people) to be hated him and to be tortured eternally. A small portion of humanity (1% perhaps) he decided to love though they don't deserve it. Why did God create so many people to hate? Is he so filled with poisonous hatred he has to create billions of beings upon which he can vent his wrath? Given your beliefs about God, what do you think heaven is really going to be like for the elect with this hate-filled God? What do you really think deep in your heart about this God you present to the world? For example, what do you think about your God in relation to your parents - were they created by God predestined by him to be hated and tormented eternally? I frankly have a hard time believing any human being can truly love a God like the one you preach.
