In law school, when I read the major anti-trust cases, I came to the conclusion that the government is always behind the curve. Most of the parties to the anti-trust lawsuits were no longer in business by the time I read the cases. The government always wants to preserve what was rather than look forward to what will be. This is my major concern, especially since softie's "monopoly" is rapidly fading.
